In our practice, we already had a fairly structured first visit process, but with the introduction of Andrea’s new protocol, we implemented everything very quickly.
Today, and for over a year now, we adhere to it very diligently, having added some customizations.
I want to highlight 2 very positive aspects resulting from the method’s meticulous application, the first being numeric and the other I would say “emotional”.
The acceptance percentages for the initial estimate have markedly increased. We used to be at already high numbers, but we have now consistently reached above 85%, with peaks of 95% in cases of patients who come to us through word of mouth. Previously, we were averaging around 60-70%.
The “emotional” aspect concerns the quality of the relationship with our patients. The protocol conveys a strong sense of attention and organization, allowing people to trust us much more easily. Particularly, the introduction of an interview conducted by our secretary, instead of patients filling out the questionnaire on their own, almost always immediately establishes an open and thriving communication channel.
This creates a pleasant and serene relationship right from the beginning, greatly benefiting the peace and solidity of the ongoing relationship.
